But..."Kaz the Minotaur" is male...Look it up - it's copyrighted. Richard Knaak created the character. Still - your drawing is really nice. You can't help the lack of creativity of your commissioner. I love minotaurs because of the Kaz trilogy. They're so fun to draw.

What I forgot to have the artist add - much to my irritation.
Never fails. I don't lack creativity. It's called homage, not theft. Not that I don't understand the assumption, I really do. I just get tired of the personal digs.
Obligatory disclaimer: Kaz is my main character used in roleplay. Yes, her short usename is Kaz. Yes, there is a series of Dragonlance books by Richard Knaak that features a minotaur named Kaz. But I did not steal the character! I happen to think highly of the author, and the race and world and culture he helped give so much depth to. My Kaz, full name Kazanthi de-Arluun, is named in honor of both writer and his creation, Kaziganthi de-Orilg. There's a lot they have in common, but my minotaur is not from Krynn, and her world, clan, past, and history are unique to myself.
